How We Work

At Lamboyal consult, we believe information is the most important construction material and speed is king for any building project. Errors and waste in building projects lifecycle processes, mostly result from difficulties in communication, collaboration, and standardization. To solve these interoperability issues, our teams use BIM and other related technologies to establish collaborative environments that facilitate the planning, production, distribution and sharing of accurate project information amongst stakeholders for use within building project lifecycle processes. The information provides an enhanced basis for conducting analysis, decision making, procurement, design, fabrication,construction, operations, facilities management etc. Our services are categorized depending on the project procurement or delivery method.

Category 1: Object based modeling

We offer this on projects procured under design-bid- build and CMAR. Where by contract and design collaboration amongst the different project teams is difficult. Our teams work with each unit independently to realize the benefits of BIM at a localized level. In the cases where we get to work with all project teams independently, we collaborate the model in house to create an asset information model.

Category 2: Collaborative BIM

Here we become part of the project team either under the lead designer or contractor. Our job is to bring together all the different project teams(disciplines) through well defined collaborative processes. We support the different project teams in the creation of their discipline models and collaborate them with those of other disciplines through a common data environment, for coordination, VDC work flows and creation of asset information models.

Category 3: Integrated BIM

Here our goal is integrated project delivery. We make the entire project phase less by creating network based integrated models, share and maintain them collaboratively throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitating analyses, business intelligence, green policies, lean principles and whole life costing.
